Czeslaw Lang honored! The general director of the Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour was elected Polish Sports Ambassador at the 2013 Sports Champions Gala. Winners of the contest were awarded at the Polish Theatre in Warsaw.
The 79th “Sports Review” and TVP plebiscite for the best athlete is behind us. Like every year, the best players were selected by readers of “SR” and television viewers. The best Polish athlete title was awarded to Justyna Kowalczyk for the fifth time. During the gala, several other honors were awarded as well. Among the honored was the general director of the Tour de Pologne UCI World Tour. Czeslaw Lang was elected Polish Sports Ambassador.
– This recognition satisfies, undertakes and motivates me to work even harder on promoting physical activity – especially among children. Sports can be a great passion, and only having a passion can make a man happy – says Czeslaw Lang. Sport has given me very much in my life. It taught me work, perseverance, setting goals and pursuing them – first, when I was an athlete and reaching for medals, then, when I started organizing sporting events. I managed to realize many plans through what I have learned by playing sports. Which? For example the persistent pursuit of introducing the Tour de Pologne to the “cycling Champions League.” Today the TdP is among the best races in the world.
The board and the members of the European Business Club Poland and the members of the awards chapter of the European Business Club Poland offer the warmest congratulations to the winner.
