Adam Mokrysz, PhD, is a Polish entrepreneur, co-owner and CEO of Mokate Group and the CEO of Mokate Ltd. The successor of a family business. He is responsible for development of new perspectives of the Group. He creates its strategy and international identity, and also runs expansion of the Mokate brands in the whole world. Adam Mokrysz is a graduate of Management and Marketing at the Academy of Economy in Katowice (present University of Economy in Katowice). At the same university he obtained PhD in management. He holds the diploma of the University of London in international trade. Moreover, he graduated from the prestigious post-master studies IMD-AEDP \u2013 Accelerated Executive Development Program at the University in Lozano.<\/p>\n

\u00a0He started his career over 20 years ago in a family company. He took the position of manager for marketing and was responsible for the most important coffee brands. Next, he became the manager for export, and after successful expansion of the company abroad, he became the Managing Director for Export. In that time, he introduced Mokate to the group of international top Polish exporters on the food market. He achieved with the company abroad. As the Member of the Mokate Board (since 2009) he directed the international team of best experts and managers in FMCG industry, and developed the company globally. As of the 1st<\/sup> January 2016 he has been the CEO of the Mokate Group. As a result of the CEO Adam Mokrysz efforts, today Mokate, is among others: a family business employing over 1700 people in Europe and in the world; a group of companies operating in the Central-Eastern Europe and on various markets outside Europe; a producer of over 50 types of various instant coffee products, coffee mixes, ground coffee and coffee beans, black tea, fruit tea, herbal tea, cookies; one of the leading, international players on the market of specialist semi-finished products; the most modern installation for spray drying FilerMat in Europe; it operates on over 70 markets around the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adam Mokrysz gets involved in various business, social and cultural groups. He is a man who demands from himself a lot, he is ambitious, and very modest. As the leader of the international company, he often quotes Nelson Mandela : \u201cEverything seems impossible, until it is done\u201d. This thought inspires him to look for solutions in difficult situations, which seem to be unsolvable. The founder of Mokate \u2013 Teresa Mokrysz, built very high standards of company management, and Adam Mokrysz, PhD is still raising them. New challenges are a motivation and inspiration for him to act and reach new goals. In a business activity it is development of the company and international expansion. His managerial identity has been formed in the culture of pursuing goals. The management model which he follows, is characterised by consistency and patience. Being a strategist, he understands very well that for a family company it is not most important to gain a short-term advantage in narrow scopes, but a gradual, consistent and methodologic building of a multi-generation business. Mokate is one of few effective successions of family businesses in Poland. Family values are a guarantee of stability and continuity of management model. Opposite to capital groups where are frequent personnel and strategy changes.<\/p>\n

Adam Mokrysz is a keen sportsman and chess player. The sports way of thinking works very well in company management. Based on this assumption, he plans always in the perspective of a few strategic moves ahead. Like in chess, checking inquisitively all possibilities and estimating the risks. It doesn\u2019t mean he avoids it. The Mokate Group wouldn\u2019t have reached its current position, if they hadn\u2019t made brave moves: international acquisition and winning the next international markets. \u00a0Adam Mokrysz has built the strong export of Mokate products from basics, and his consistency and determination led to international development of the Group. Adam Mokrysz executes the long-term strategy and doesn\u2019t lose the clearly set goal from his eyesight.<\/p>\n

Adam Mokrysz supports education and culture organisations. He is the founder of prizes. The Mokate company he manages is a partner to the Polish Chess Society, and the CEO joins eagerly the tournaments and chess events. Adam Mokrysz initiated the Mokate Chess Academy, which supports many events related to this. The main program of the Academy is \u201cEducation through chess at school\u201d, which aims at supporting the intellectual development of the youngest.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the right, strategic decisions of Adam Mokrysz, Mokate has been building a strong position as an employer. The prove of that are, among others, awards granted to it, for example, Trusted Employer 2017<\/em>. He develops relations with potential employees already when contacting with universities, and even high schools. Mokate managed by Adam Mokrysz holds the leader position Leader of the Polish Business<\/em>. The CEO is has been awarded with the Gold Super Cesar of the Silesian Business<\/em>. The has also received the awards of Manager of 2017<\/em> for activity on the international markets, and Promotor of Poland<\/em> given by the Foundation of the Polish Promotional Emblem \u201cTeraz Polska\u201d.
